chatting with Erik, huh? i'd ask you to say hi for me, but there's no way he'd remember who i am. in any case; i have a copy of the book of which you speak - direct from the hands of Erik and Chokyi Nyima Rin., no less - which i'd be happy to lend to you, if you need it.
Perhaps I may remember you, Dan. Where did we meet?

we've met several times, on small occassions. i helped set up Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's Massachussates teachings this past july, and before that, i studied the Tibetan text of Saraha's Queen's Doha during Thrangu Rinpoche's Sarnath seminar. i've also been in and out of Boudha over the last couple years... so perhaps you would remember me. in any case, i hope you're doing well. are you working on any other texts for publication these days?
